Atlanta, Ga. ----- Game day events have been announced for North Carolina's football contest vs. LSU in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at Atlanta's Georgia Dome on Sept. 4. Billed as the "Daytona 500 of College Football" the annual Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game will include a full day of tailgating and event options for Carolina and LSU fans prior to kickoff at 8 p.m. Tickets for all events and parking packages go on sale July 1 at chick-fil-akickoffgame.com.
Tar Heel Tailgate
The "Tar Heel Tailgate" is the official pregame VIP party for Carolina fans in Atlanta. Located in the air-conditioned Georgia World Congress Center, which is just steps away from the Georgia Dome, the "Tar Heel Tailgate" is $65 per person and includes a full buffet meal, one drink coupon and a cash bar, one ticket to the FanZone, one official game program, appearances from the UNC cheerleaders and mascot, welcome comments from Athletics Director Dick Baddour and Tar Heel football legend Don McCauley and entertainment from the UNC band. The Tailgate is open from 4-7 p.m.
Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game FanZone
The Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game FanZone is the official game day event for fans from both schools and is located at the Georgia World Congress Center from Noon-6 p.m. Cost is $5 per person. The FanZone contains several interactive games and sponsor attractions. Concessions are available and the "World's Largest Indoor Pep Rally" will conclude the event.
The Kickoff Cook-Off
This free event will feature head-to-head cooking matchups between UNC and LSU fans throughout the day from Noon-5 p.m. Adjacent to the FanZone on the Georgia Dome Campus, the Cook-Off area is a great place to play games like cornhole and video games and watch professional chefs and tailgaters cooking demonstrations.
Tailgaters Paradise Parking Option
Located inside the Kickoff Cook-Off area, the Tailgaters Paradise offers game-managed parking spaces on the Georgia Dome campus. Cost is $60 for one space and $100 for two spaces. The package includes easy access to all Kickoff Cook-Off activities, two tickets to the Kickoff Game FanZone, entry into the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game "Ultimate Tailgater" giveaway to win a Big Green Egg and prize pack (only Tailgater's Paradise package buyers are eligible), prize giveaways, one official game day game program and a limited edition commemorative Kickoff Game pin. Only 50 packages are available to each team.

Kickoff time has been announced for 8 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally on ABC.
