Two Golfers Move On In Match Play At North & South Amateur

PINEHURST, N.C. - University of North Carolina women's golfers Courtney Gunter and Jackie Chang moved on in the first round of match play on Tuesday at the 108th North & South Amateur.
Gunter took on Bambee Dela Paz to win at three and one despite being matched three times. She will start off at 9:06 a.m. on Thursday, competing against Lindy Duncan.
Chang defeated Thuhashini Selvaratnam while maintaining a constant lead in holes, finishing five and four. She will tee off against Emma Lavy at 7:54 a.m. on Thursday.
The tournament is being held at Pinehurst #2 golf course which features a par-72, 6,286-yard lay-out.
