CHAPEL HILL - The Tar Heel men's basketball team will hold its annual preseason media day on Thursday afternoon in the Smith Center and one highlight will be the unveiling of the new jersey design for the 2011-12 season.
The Tar Heel players will wear the uniforms as they meet with the media on Thursday afternoon but TarHeelBlue.com has an exclusive first look at the jerseys.
While the front of the jerseys are essentially unchanged, the back features an aerographic design that incorporates the Old Well, the University's iconic landmark, the outline of the state of North Carolina and a basketball.
