Music City Bowl Among Tops In Ratings

North Carolina's 30-27 Music City Bowl victory over Tennessee had the fifth-highest television rating among non-BCS bowl games. The Tar Heels victory over the Vols garnered a 4.92 rating and was watched my more than seven million viewers.
Other highlights include:
• The Music City Bowl had the second highest TV ratings growth in 2010 compared to 2009 of all bowl games and was one of only 11 bowls whose ratings grew.
• The Music City Bowl had the ninth highest TV ratings.
• The Music City Bowl was one of nine bowl games with a capacity crowd or greater.
• The Music City Bowl had the sixth largest attendance of all 35 bowl games (third highest among non-BCS bowl games and higher than two BCS bowls)
