Schedule Set For ACC Baseball Championship

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the times for the 2011 ACC Baseball Championship on Sunday and the No. 4-seeded Tar Heels will begin play on Thursday when they take on No. 5 Miami at 11 a.m. at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
North Carolina was given a bye for the championship's first day of action as Georgia Tech and Clemson will open play on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
The Tar Heels open against the Hurricanes on Thursday at 11 a.m. and will return to action on Friday at 7 p.m. when they face Wake Forest before closing out pool play on Saturday at 7 p.m. against Virginia.
North Carolina is a member of Pool A along with Miami, Wake Forest and Virginia, while Pool B is comprised of Florida State, Georgia Tech, Clemson and NC State.
The winner of each pool will meet in the championship game on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Every game of the 2011 ACC Baseball Championship will be televised live on the Regional Sports Network.
