Chapel Hill, N.C. - College football's national signing day is Wednesday, Feb. 1, and once again, TarHeelBlue.com is your home for "Signing Day Live!," an innovative internet show broadcast live from inside the Kenan Football Center. Signing Day Live!, presented by AT&T, is free and will air from noon - 2 p.m.
The two-hour show features live interviews with head coach Larry Fedora and his assistant coaches, plus exclusive videos of Carolina's signees. Jones Angell and former UNC letterman Deunta Williams will co-host the broadcast from the recruiting room on the fifth floor of the football center. Williams started 47 games at safety from 2007-10 and finished his career with 12 interceptions. He was the 2007 ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year and was a first-team all-conference pick in 2009.
Beginning at 7 a.m. and leading up to the noon broadcast, TarHeelBlue.com will feature live look-ins and commentary from members of the Carolina football program, plus online chats with players and coaches. TarHeelBlue.com is the only site for official confirmation of signees as letters of intent are received at the fax machine inside the football center.
Signing day coverage also will be available on UNC's football twitter page: twitter.com/tarheelfootball and Facebook page: facebook.com/tarheels.
