UNC Ranked 20th In Preseason Poll

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of North Carolina is ranked 20th in the preseason poll released Wednesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Coach Sam Paul has five singles starters returning from the 2011 team which finished 16-8 overall and 9-2 in the ACC.
The University of Southern California, the defending NCAA champion, is ranked No. 1 in the preseason poll.
UNC players in the preseason singles rankings are juniors Jose Hernandez at 30th and junior William Parker at 103rd.
The UNC doubles team of senior Brennan Boyajian and junior Jose Hernandez is ranked 31st in the country heading into the 2012 season.
