Atlanta - North Carolina senior Morgan Evans scored a 38.800 in the all-around competition at the 2012 NCAA Gymnastics Championships. Evans did not advance to the finals.
It was the second championship appearance for Evans, who concludes her UNC career as one of the school's top performers. In Friday's competition, the Norfolk, Va., native scored a 9.800 on vault, 9.825 on uneven bars, 9.350 on balance beam and 9.825 on floor exercise for a total of 38.800.
