CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Eleven Diamond Heels have scattered across the United States for summer wooden bat league action, including three players in the prestigious Cape Cod League. Carolina has also placed players in the Coastal Plain League, the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League, the New England Collegiate Baseball League and the Southern Collegiate Baseball League.
The Cape Cod Baseball League opens action tonight, while the other four leagues with Tar Heels among their lineups opened action last week.
