NFL Update: Week Three

Seven time Pro Bowl selection and former second overall pick Julius Peppers continued his superlative defensive work for the Chicago Bears, recording three total tackles, including two solo stops and half a sack, bringing his total to 2.5 on the young year. His two sacks coming into this weekend ranked 10th in the league. Offensively, Shaun Draughn did a little bit of everything for the Kansas City Chiefs. The second year running back had seven carries for 22 yards, hauled in three passes for 26 yards, and returned two kicks for 37 yards, giving him 85 total yards on the day as the Chiefs upset the Saints 27-24 in overtime.

Marvin Austin, NY Giants - The second year pro returned to North Carolina on Thursday night, playing in 17 snaps and contributing to a Giants defense that held the Panthers to 7 points.
Connor Barth, Tampa Bay - Barth converted his only two opportunities on Sunday, knocking home a 28 yard field goal to go along with an extra point in a 16-10 loss to the Cowboys.
Zach Brown, Tennessee - Brown totaled four tackles, including three solo takedowns, in a wild 44-41 overtime victory over the Detroit Lions.
Bruce Carter, Dallas - Carter continued his impressive run as a starting linebacker for the Cowboys as he totaled five tackles, one of which went for a loss, in a 16-10 win.
Quinton Coples, New York Jets - The rookie defensive end registered the first quarterback hit of his young career to go along with two tackles in a 23-20 overtime win against Miami.
Vonnie Holliday, Arizona - The Cardinals improved to 3-0 on the season thanks in part to two tackles from Holliday, who helped hold the Eagles to just 6 points.
Greg Little, Cleveland - Little had four targets and recorded two completions totaling 17 yards in a 24-14 loss to the Bills. He also recorded a tackle following a Cleveland turnover, his third in as many games.
Michael McAdoo, Baltimore - The Ravens placed McAdoo on injured reserved for the season following Achilles surgery.
Hakeem Nicks, NY Giants - A week after registering 199 receiving yards, the reigning NFC Offensive Player of the Week and Charlotte native was ruled inactive for the Giants 36-7 victory over the Panthers with a foot injury.
Richard Quinn, Cincinnati - Quinn was listed as inactive as the Bengals beat the Redskins to improve to 2-1.
Robert Quinn, St. Louis - Quinn totaled two sacks in the opening two games of the season and nearly registered another on Sunday, logging a hit on the quarterback in a 23-6 loss to the Bears.
Garrett Reynolds, Atlanta - Reynolds and the Falcons added to their undefeated record as the offensive lineman helped pave the way for four Atlanta touchdowns in a 27-3 romp over the Chargers.
Gerald Sensabaugh, Dallas - The long time starter at safety suffered a right calf injury last weekend in a loss to Seattle and was one of seven inactive Cowboys on Sunday.
Jeff Saturday, Green Bay - The two-time All-Pro center will be in action on Monday night, as the 1-1 Packers travel to Seattle.
DaNorris Searcy, Buffalo - Searcy continued to roam the Buffalo secondary, logging two tackles and helping hold the Browns to 14 points as the Bills improved to 2-1.
Brandon Tate, Cincinnati - Tate logged a pair of kickoff and punt returns, recording 45 kickoff return yards and 16 yards on punt returns as the Bengals secured a 38-31 victory over the Redskins.
Ryan Taylor, Green Bay - Special teams ace looks to help Green Bay improve to 2-1 on Monday night.
Cam Thomas, San Diego - The 4th year defensive tackle tallied his first tackle of the year as the Chargers fell 27-3 to the Falcons.
Greg Warren, Pittsburgh - Long snapper helped the Steelers convert one field goal and four extra points, while also averaging 36 yards on three punts in a 34-31 loss in Oakland.
Johnny White, Buffalo - White posted an impressive 7.5 yards per carry on Sunday, totaling 15 yards on two carries as the Bills beat the Browns 24-14.
TJ Yates, Houston - Yates continued his backup duties as the Texans improved to 3-0 with a 31-25 win at Denver.
