• Carolina falls to 6-6 overall and 4-4 in the ACC.
• The Tar Heels lead the series, 59-37-4, but the Blue Devils have won consecutive games against UNC for the first time since 1988-89. Duke has won the last two games by a combined five points.
• Sophomore quarterback Marquise Williams rushed for a career-high 104 yards on 16 carries. He is the first Tar Heel quarterback to rush for 100 yards since Darian Durant had 110 yards vs. Clemson in 2003. Williams had two rushing touchdowns today; he leads UNC with six rushing scores this year.
• Tight end Eric Ebron had five receptions for 121 yards, including 103 yards in the first half. It is his third 100-yard game of the season. He had a career-long 79-yard catch in the first half. His previous long was 71 yards vs. Miami.
• The 79-yard passing play from Marquise Williams to tight end Eric Ebron is Carolina's longest-ever passing play at Kenan Stadium. The previous long plays were 78 yards by Ronald Curry to Kory Bailey vs. Georgia Tech in 2000 and Bryn Renner to Giovani Bernard vs. the Yellow Jackets in 2012.
• Ebron finishes the regular season with 55 catches for 895 yards. The 895 yards are an ACC single-season record for receiving yards by a tight end. The previous record was 871 by Maryland's Vernon Davis in 2005.
• Quinshad Davis caught his 10th touchdown pass of the season. That is the third-highest season total in UNC history.
• Davis has 108 receptions at Carolina. Only Hakeem Nicks (113) caught more in his first two seasons at UNC.
• Carolina converted its first two-point conversion of the season when punter Tommy Hibbard passed to place-kicker Thomas Moore to give Carolina a 15-10 advantage in the second quarter.
• Duke's DeVon Edwards returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter. It is the longest kickoff return by an opponent since Stefon Diggs vs. Maryland, 2012.
• Safety Tre Boston recorded a season-high 15 tackles. That is the most tackles by a Tar Heel this year. The previous was 13 by Jeff Schoettmer vs. Virginia Tech.
• Defensive tackle Ethan Farmer made a season-high eight tackles.
• Duke had the ball for almost 11 more minutes than the Tar Heels. Duke had 35:23 time of possession, compared to 24:37 for Carolina.
• The Blue Devils converted 8 of 15 third downs, while UNC was 2 for 12. UNC did not convert a third down on its first eight opportunities. The Tar Heels were three for four on fourth down chances.
• The Blue Devils ran 82 plays. Only Georgia Tech (83) ran more plays against UNC in an ACC game this season. East Carolina ran 101 plays, the most ever by a Tar Heel opponent.
• Punter Tommy Hibbard had four punts for 46.2 yards (net was actually 46.5) and dropped three of the four punts inside the 20-yard line (two inside the 5).
• Carolina scored three touchdowns today - two by sophomore Marquise Williams and one by sophomore Quinshad Davis. Freshmen and sophomores have scored UNC's last 26 touchdowns and 42 of 50 this year.
• Marquise Williams has 1,058 total offense yards in the last three games, the most in any three-game stretch in Tar Heel history. The previous high was 1,015 by T.J. Yates in 2010.
