Loeb Selected Top Seed at National Indoor Championship

FLUSHING, N.Y. - North Carolina freshman Jamie Loeb is the top-seed at the 2013 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship, while classmate Hayley Carter is the seventh seed as announced on Wednesday.
Loeb will face Florida's Sofie Oyen on Thursday at 2 p.m., while Carter will take on Bianca Sanon of Columbia later in the evening at 6 p.m.
Carter and Loeb are also competing in doubles and will receive a first-round bye on Thursday morning. They will take on the winner of the match between Columbia and Georgia at 11 a.m.
