WBB Season Takes Flight Friday Against Air Force

Tomorrow will be 'Military Appreciation Day' with all active and retired military members receiving free admission to the game. Guest tickets can be purchased for half-price by clicking here.
Carolina has won 12-straight season opening games and owns a 34-5 record all-time in the first game of the season. The Tar Heels will open the year at home for the 13th-consecutive year when the Falcons come to town.
A balanced attack has been featured thus far in the two exhibition victories for UNC. Six players scored in double figures in both games.
On Tuesday, freshman Allisha Gray scored a team-high 15 points, while Diamond DeShields added 14 points. Xylina McDaniel posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
North Carolina hosts No. 4 Tennessee Friday at 9 p.m., on ESPN2.
