Carolina Scrimmages On Saturday

Chapel Hill, N.C. - The North Carolina Tar Heels scrimmaged for eight 1/2 innings on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for baseball at Boshamer Stadium. The Home team scored one run in the first and two more in the seventh to take a 3-0 win. The two teams combined for 13 hits with one error.
Seven Carolina pitchers saw action. Shane Taylor and Benton Moss started, with Chris McCue, Jack Geraghty, Chris Munnelly, Landon Fraley and Trevor Kelley throwing in relief.
Carolina will hold its last open scrimmage on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the Bosh.
