CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina moved up to No. 24 in this week's ESPN.com/USA Softball poll and re-entered the USA Today/NFCA rankings in the No. 25 spot.

Carolina (24) and Florida State (25) are the only ACC programs ranked in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll, and UNC is the only conference team in the USA Today/NFCA rankings.

The Tar Heels finished out last week 6-0, sweeping their ACC series with Virginia and knocking off Appalchian State and James Madison at home in their mid-week games. UNC hosts Elon on Wednesday at 6 p.m. before heading to NC State for another three-game conference series this Saturday and Sunday, April 13 and 14.
