UNC Softball Announces Fall Alumni Event

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Carolina softball will hold its annual Alumni Weekend September 7 and 8, head coach Donna J. Papa announced. All former softball alumni are invited back to Chapel Hill for a fun weekend of activities.
Saturday's events will include a picnic for the university's Monogram Day before the 12:30 p.m. football game against Middle Tennesee State. After the game, softball alumni can gather at R&R Grill on Franklin Street for heavy hors d'oeuvres.
The annual alumni game will take place on Sunday at 11 a.m., with odd years facing even years. Lunch will follow the game.
Ticket orders for the UNC football game must be given to the UNC Ticket Office by July 1, and RSVPs for the weekend must be received by July 25.
