Heels Start Second Week Of Scrimmages

Chapel Hill --- The Blue squad scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to take a 7-5 win over Navy in a five and a half inning scrimmage Tuesday afternoon at a hot Boshamer Stadium.
Adrian Chacon and Skye Bolt both doubled, the only extra-base hits of the scrimmage. Chacon added a two-run single in the fifth that tied the score at 5-5. Brandon Whiteford singled in his first three at bats.
The Tar Heels used four pitchers: Reilly Hovis, Zac Gallen, Spencer Trayner and Mason McCullough.
Carolina's next closed scrimmage will be on Thursday.
