• QB Bryn Renner finished 14 of 29 for 218 yards and two touchdowns. Renner's two passing touchdowns give him 58 for his career, tying T.J. Yates for second in school history. Renner is 10 shy of the all-time mark of 68 set by Darian Durant from 2001-04.
• Renner became the third player in Carolina history to reach 7,000 career passing yards in the first quarter. With 7,207 career yards, Renner trails Yates (9,377) and Durant (8,755) on the all-time list. He now ranks 29th in ACC history.
• TE Eric Ebron caught six passes for a career-high 108 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown, a one-handed 19-yard reception in the second quarter, was the sixth of his career.
• TB Romar Morris scored his third touchdown of the season, a 4-yard rush in the first quarter. Morris finished the game with 54 rushing yards on 11 carries.
• WR Sean Tapley notched his first touchdown of the season in the second quarter, a 24-yard scoring reception from Renner. Tapley scored six touchdowns (5 receiving, 1 kick return) in 2012.
• DE Kareem Martin registered a career-high 10 tackles, including seven solo stops. Martin also assisted on a tackle for loss.
• Bandit Norkeithus Otis continued his strong play, finishing with eight tackles (seven solo), two forced fumbles, 1.5 tackles for loss and his team-leading third sack of the year. Otis also broke up a pass in the fourth quarter.
• LB Jeff Schoettmer had a career-high 10 tackles, eight of which were solo stops.
• P Tommy Hibbard punted five times for 227 yards, a 45.4-yard average. He also placed a pair of kicks inside the 10 and had a long punt of 49.
• PK Thomas Moore kicked a pair of extra points and is now a perfect 57 for 57 in his career on PATs. Including 126 consecutive made PATs by Casey Barth, Carolina has made 183 consecutive extra points.
