CHAPEL HILL — Prior to Saturday's game vs. Georgia Tech, Carolina Athletics and the Town of Chapel Hill will hold the second annual Tar Heel Downtown event. The event kicks off at 3 p.m. from West Franklin Street near the Plaza at 140 West.
Tar Heel Downtown features:
- • A live concert by the Breakfast Club, a 1980's tribute band
- • Interactive playground for kids and families, a rock climbing wall, and face painting courtesy of the Carolina General Alumni Association.
- • Chapel Hill Sportswear merchandise tent
- • Carolina volleyball and women's soccer teams signing autographs
- • The UNC Marching Tar Heels, cheerleaders, and Rameses will be in attendance
- • Accessible parking lots downtown can be viewed at www.parkonthehill.com
