Schneider Ousted in ITA Consolation Semifinals

TULSA, Okla. - North Carolina sophomore Ronnie Schneider fell in the semifinals of the ITA All-American Championships consolation draw on Sunday at Case Tennis Center, concluding the Tar Heels' run in Tulsa.
The 23rd-ranked Schneider lost to UCLA's 13th-ranked Mackenzie McDonald 2-6, 6-1, 6-1. Schneider previously defeated Oklahoma's No. 16 Dane Webb 7-6(1), 7-6(8) in the quarterfinals.
Carolina will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 10 at the Wake Forest Invitational.
