• Freshman linebacker Cayson Collins scored on a 39-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the second quarter. It was the first fumble return for a TD by a Tar Heel since defensive tackle Cam Thomas returned one 20 yards for a score at Boston College in 2009. Carolina has scored four defensive touchdowns this season - three interception returns and one fumble return.
