Dalton Signs With Tar Heels

The University of North Carolina has signed a scholarship agreement with defensive lineman Jalen Dalton who will enroll in January 2015, upon completion of his high school degree.
A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Dalton (6-5, 235 pounds) attends West Forsyth High School and is considered by most recruiting analysts as one of the top three players in the state.
He is rated a four-star player by Rivals.com and checks in at No. 66 on the Rivals100 list. Dalton is considered the No. 2 player in North Carolina by 247sports.com. He is a member of the Scout300 and is listed as the No. 18 defensive end in the nation by Scout.com.
Dalton has been selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas and the Under Armour All-America Game in January.
