NATIONAL RANKINGS
North Carolina is ranked No. 6 in both the Associated Press and USA TODAY Coaches' top-25 polls. Maine and Elon are unranked.
NON-CONFERENCE SCHEDULE STRENGTH
Carolina played five top-25 ranked teams during the non-conference portion of its schedule, the most in school history. The Tar Heels went 4-1 against the five ranked teams, with wins coming over No. 5 Stanford, No. 18 Rutgers, No. 21 Oklahoma State and No. 23 UCLA. The only loss came to No. 16 Oregon State on Dec. 16.
GRAY AREA
Sophomore guard Allisha Gray is averaging 20.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists over the last four games. She has led the team in scoring six times and has scored in double figures in 9-of-10 games this season.
HOME SWEET HOME
Carolina returns home after Christmas to host Albany on Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. and will open 2015 against ETSU on Jan. 2 at 2 p.m.
