• Carolina finished the season 6-7, its first losing season since 2007. UNC is now 14-17 all-time in bowl games. The Tar Heels dropped to 3-4 all-time against Rutgers.
• QB Marquise Williams finished 25 of 37 for 198 yards and a touchdown. He threw for 3,068 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2014.
• Friday marked the seventh time this season and the 11th time in his career that Williams has thrown and run for a touchdown in the same game.
• Williams rushed for a 1-yard touchdown in the third quarter, his 13th of the season. He extended his own single-season school record for rushing scores by a quarterback and is now tied for fifth in ACC single-season history with Woodrow Dantzler (Clemson, 2000) and Scott Smith (NC State, 1979).
• Williams was responsible for 34 touchdowns in 2014 – 21 passing, 13 rushing. He also caught a touchdown pass against East Carolina.
• Williams finished the season with 3,856 yards of total offense, a school record. He also moved past Ronald Curry into fourth in school history in career total offense with 6,403.
• Williams either ran or passed 52 times Friday, establishing a single-season school record for total plays with 621.
• In addition to passing for 3,068 yards in 2014, Williams rushed 193 times for a team-high 788 yards. He was one of seven players in the country to lead their team in both rushing and passing.
• TB T.J. Logan rushed 14 times for a team-high 110 yards Friday to finish with 582 rushing yards in his sophomore campaign, the most by a Tar Heel running back. He will enter 2015 with 1,115 career rushing yards.
• WR Ryan Switzer caught six passes for 54 yards Friday to finish the season with team highs of 61 receptions and 757 yards.
• WR Quinshad Davis caught three passes for 30 yards and now has 150 career receptions, good for eighth in school history.
• TE Jack Tabb caught five passes for 51 yards and scored his third touchdown of the season in his final game as a Tar Heel. He finished his senior year with 26 catches for 257 yards and three scores.
• WR Kendrick Singleton caught three passes for 21 yards and his first touchdown of the season.
• QB Mitch Trubisky got in the game late and completed 7 of 9 passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown pass was Trubisky's fifth of the season.
• LB Travis Hughes had a team-high seven tackles in his final game as a Tar Heel. S Tim Scott was second with six, and finished the year with a team-high 78 stops.
• Carolina recovered back-to-back onside kicks in the fourth quarter. Both were kicked by Nick Weiler, with the first recovered by Thomas Moore and the second recovered by Tabb.
