Davis Undergoes Successful Surgery

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina's Quinshad Davis underwent successful surgery Saturday morning to repair a fractured right tibia, which he injured in UNC's bowl game Friday afternoon in Detroit. Dr. Jeffrey Spang performed the surgery at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Davis will miss spring practice, but is expected to make a complete recovery and be available for 2015 fall training camp.
A native of Gaffney, S.C., Davis finished the season with 41 receptions for 470 yards and six receiving touchdowns. Davis has one year of eligibility remaining and already ranks eighth at UNC with 150 receptions. He is tied for first at UNC with 21 career touchdown catches.
