North Carolina is ranked No. 9 in the Associated Press poll this week. The coaches poll is released Tuesday afternoon.

The only previous meeting between UNC and Albany was a 59-54 Tar Heel victory in the 2013 NCAA Tournament first round in Newark, Del. Tierra Ruffin-Pratt scored 30 points to help bring the Tar Heels back after trailing with 10 minutes to play.

Carolina is the only team in the country with four wins over top-25 ranked teams. UNC has played five ranked teams in the non-conference portion of its schedule, the most in program history.
