Peppers hopes to be back with Packers next year
Julius Peppers has had a really nice season so far with the Green Bay Packers as he has five sacks and a couple of interceptions heading into the team's Monday night showdown against the Atlanta Falcons. Peppers recently said that he hopes the Packers bring him back next season. Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com has more on Peppers' future: http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/152750/julius-peppers-hopes-packers-bring-him-back-next-season
Sylvester Williams' motivation
When Sylvester Williams was growing up in St. Louis, he could've gone two ways with his life. He could've stayed in St. Louis and worked in a factory, or he could have decided to create a better life for himself. Williams chose the latter and started his path toward becoming a professional football player, using the life he left behind as motivation. Lauren Guidice of DenverBroncos.com has the story here: http://www.denverbroncos.com/news-and-blogs/article-1/Williams'-history-father-drive-him/a3016716-f27d-43d8-aece-2aef08991828
Shaun Draughn lands with Cleveland Browns
Shaun Draughn has bounced around the NFL quite a bit this season as he's already played two games with the Chicago Bears and four with the San Diego Chargers. The Browns mark Draughn's third team of the season as they signed the former Tar Heel after wide receiver Miles Austin was placed on injured reserve.
Eric Ebron growing into bigger role
Eric Ebron has had a relatively quiet rookie season with the Detroit Lions, and hasn't quite shown the big-play ability that we all came to expect from him when he was at North Carolina. Ebron does have to compete with wide receivers Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate for targets though, but overall Ebron says he feels more comfortable in the Lions offense. Look for Ebron to have a bigger impact for the team if they are to finish strong in the regular season and secure a spot in the NFC playoffs. Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com has more on Ebron's role: http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/post/_/id/69140/eric-ebron-growing-into-bigger-role
