Men's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

CHAPEL HILL - The North Carolina men's soccer team has announced its 2014 spring schedule, featuring matches with long-standing local rivals and the Carolina Railhawks.
The Tar Heels begin their season on Saturday, Feb. 22 in Rock Hill, S.C., against Queens University and South Carolina at Manchester Meadows Park.
Carolina will then host its only spring match on Sunday, March 2 against Sigma FC, a Canadian soccer academy based in Toronto. The two matches will take place at Finley Soccer Field at 12 and 2:30 p.m.
Later in the month of March, UNC will take on the Carolina Railhawks on Saturday, March 22 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.
The following weekend the club will compete with Virginia at Greensboro's Bryan Park, before going up to Maryland for a match on April 5 at 2 p.m.
The season comes to a close on Saturday, April 12 with two matches at Wake Forest at 5 and 7 p.m., in Winston-Salem, N.C.
