Tar Heels Wrap Up Second Week Of Scrimmages

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- The Away squad jumped off to an 8-2 lead and held on for a 9-6 win in a 9 1/2 inning scrimmage on Sunday afternoon at a warm and sunny Boshamer Stadium.
The two teams combined for 19 hits. Nine pitchers saw action: A.J. Bogucki, Taylore Cherry, Jack Geraghty, Chris Oakley, Tate Parrish, Spencer Trayner, Reilly Hovis, Chris McCue and Trevor Kelley.
Carolina's next scrimmage date has not been set as the Heels will have to keep an eye on the weather forecast this week.
