Tar Heel Spotlight: Seven Innings With Amber Parrish

1. What does it mean to be a student athlete at North Carolina?
It means to be a part of a family and tradition full of honor, passion, and pride. It is such a blessing and opportunity of a lifetime that I will be forever grateful for.
2. What is your favorite thing about playing for UNC softball?
My favorite thing about playing softball for UNC is becoming a part of a family away from home and traveling to all the wonderful places we go.
3. What did you take away from working with The Program during preseason?
That no matter what the adversity that we face, if we stick together as a team, then we can overcome even the most challenging circumstances.
4. How do you like to spend your free time outside of class and softball?
I like playing basketball and watching movies with my friends.
5. Fun fact - what is something most people don't know about you?
I can draw really well.
6. If you could go to dinner with a famous person, who would it be and where would you go?
If I could eat dinner with a famous person it would definitely be Lebron James and we would go to a Japenese steakhouse.
7. What is your greatest strength as a softball player?
My greatest strength as a softball player is my hitting and my eye for the ball.
