PITTSBURGH - Sunday's series finale with Pittsburgh has been canceled due to cold weather.
The Atlantic Coast Conference rule states that "Games shall not be played if the Weather.com 'Feels Like' temperature for the facility is less than 32 degrees (Fahrenheit) at the start of the game," and temperatures in Pittsburgh today are not scheduled to reach above that mark.
UNC won both games in Saturday's doubleheader, improving to 13-11 overall and 7-1 in conference play while taking over the top spot in ACC standings.
The Tar Heels are back in action this Wednesday, playing a doubleheader at UNCG at 4 and 6 p.m.
