ACADEMIC HONORS
Record Total Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll
A record 347 Tar Heels earned spots on the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll for 2013-14. This is the second year in a row that UNC has reached a new high - last year's total of 329 also was a record.
Tar Heel Swimmers and Divers Earn Honors
A total of 16 swimmers and divers from UNC were selected for individual academic honors for the spring semester from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
USFTCCA Honors 15 Tar Heel Individuals and Women's Team
The US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2014 Division I All-Academic honorees, recognizing 15 Tar Heels. In addition, the UNC women's track and field team also earned All-Academic Team honors for the 2014 season:
Patrick Earns Men's Golf Honor
Bailey Patrick, a rising senior on the men's golf team, was named a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar for 2014. The award recognizes all-around achievement, with both athletic and academic criteria.
Women's Lacrosse Earns Team Academic Honors
UNC is one of 84 women's lacrosse teams recognized as a Division I Academic Honor Squad. The honor goes to squads with GPAs of 3.0 or higher.

Football's Landon Turner Honored For Service
UNC's Landon Turner was named to the Allstate American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Good Works Team, which recognizes community service contributions:

Leadership Academy Launches Revamped Third Level
The Richard A. Baddour Carolina Leadership Academy has rebranded and reformulated its third level of training, now known as the Leadership Lab.
