Saturday's Scrimmage Ends In A Tie

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- Navy and Blue fought to a 2-2 tie in an eight-inning scrimmage on Saturday at Boshamer Stadium.
Blue got on the board first on Joe Dudek's solo homer to right center in the second inning. Dudek's single to right then drove in Josh Merrigan for a 2-0 Blue lead in the third.
Navy tied the score with two runs in the fourth. Navy got their first run on an Adrian Chacon single before Michael Massardo ripped an RBI double.
Five pitchers saw action on the mound: Taylore Cherry, A.J. Bogucki, Jason Morgan, Henry Sisson and Ryder Ryan.
Navy had ten hits to seven for Blue. There were no errors.
The Tar Heels will hold their next closed scrimmage on Sunday afternoon.
