Gio has another nice day
Giovani Bernard had a nice season-opener against the Baltimore Ravens in Week One of the NFL season when he racked up 110 yards from scrimmage. Bernard followed that performance with 169 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Eric Ebron makes first career catch
Detroit Lions rookie tight end Eric Ebron didn't record a catch in his NFL debut last Monday night against the New York Giants. But in his second career game -Sunday against the Carolina Panthers- Ebron had three catches for 38 yards. Check out this catch Ebron made that took some nice concentration after he tipped it a few times before finally securing the ball: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000394164/Ebron-eyes-it-in
Coples sacks Aaron Rodgers
The New York Jets have put together one of the best defensive fronts in the entire NFL and outside linebacker Quinton Coples is one of the key pieces to that unit. On Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, Coples recorded his first sack of the season when he beat Packers right tackle Derek Sherrod around the edge and then dragged down Aaron Rodgers. Coples and the Jets will face another high-powered offense on Monday night when they host the Chicago Bears on ESPN at 8:30 p.m. ET.
