CHAPEL HILL --- The North Carolina baseball team will host the Ontario Blue Jays in an exhibition contest at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, UNC head coach Mike Fox announced Tuesday. The Blue Jays, who will be making their second appearance at Boshamer Stadium in as many years, are an 18-and-under team from Toronto that competes in the Premier Baseball League of Ontario.

The exhibition matchup with Ontario is open to all spectators and admission is free. Carolina will also begin its annual Fall World Series Oct. 3-5. Action will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, and 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5.

Oct. 3-5 is also Old Leaguers Weekend and Parents Weekend in Chapel Hill. For more information, contact Joan Holt in the UNC Baseball office at 919-962-2351.
