Top-Ranked UNC Visits Duke Friday On ESPN3

Winners in each of its last four matches, the top-ranked Tar Heels will look to stay unbeaten on the road this season having won three away games already in 2014. Most recently was a 2-0 victory at William & Mary on Tuesday in Williamsburg, Va.
Carolina (5-1, 1-0 ACC) took over the No. 1 spot in three of the four major soccer polls this week as College Soccer News, the NSCAA and Soccer America all moved the Tar Heels up two places after sitting third last week.
Senior forward Andy Craven scored his fourth goal of the season against the Tribe on Tuesday, and enters the match with the Blue Devils tied for the ACC lead in goals (4) and total points (9).
Classmate Tyler Engel notched his second marker of the year early in the match to set the tone for Carolina.
Senior net minder Brendan Moore recorded his fourth-consecutive clean sheet the last time out, extending his streak to over 412 minutes without allowing a goal. No opponent has scored on Carolina in the month of September.
Duke enters the match with a 2-2-1 mark and is making its ACC home debut after falling to No. 5 Louisville last weekend. The Blue Devils are 2-0-1 at home in 2014. Freshman Cameron Moseley leads the offense with four goals and one assist for nine points. He is tied with Craven for the league lead in both categories.
UNC is 7-1-2 in the last 10 matches with Duke. Last season resulted in a 0-0 double over time draw in Chapel Hill. Since 1990 covering the last 30 meetings, only seven times as either team won by more than one goal.
North Carolina plays its third of four consecutive road matches next Friday at Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m., on ESPN3.
