Heels Hold Thursday Scrimmage

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- The Blue squad took a 3-1 win over Navy in a five 1/2 inning scrimmage on Thursday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
Blue got on the board first when Tyler Ramirez was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third. Navy then tied the score in the fourth when Colby Barnette doubled down the left field line to drive in Skye Bolt.
Blue responded with single runs in the fourth and fifth innings on base hits by Joe Dudek and Wood Myers.
Four pitchers saw action: Hunter Williams, Hansen Butler, Brett Daniels and Spencer Trayner.
Carolina's next closed scrimmage will be on Friday.
