Heels Hold First Fall Scrimmage

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- The North Carolina Tar Heels held their first scrimmage of the Fall on Saturday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. The Navy squad scored single runs in the second, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh innings to get the win in the eight-inning scrimmage.
Eight pitchers saw action: Hansen Butler, Hunter Williams, Brett Daniels, Spencer Trayner, Taylore Cherry, A.J. Bogucki, Zach Rice and Henry Sisson.
The two squads combined for 13 hits, while there was one error.
Scrimmage highlights include a hard line drive homer to left by Adrian Chacon in the sixth, plus back-to-back doubles by Skye Bolt and Landon Lassiter in the fourth.
The Tar Heels will hold their next closed scrimmage on Sunday. GoHeels will have exclusive coverage of all of Carolina's Fall scrimmages.
