North Carolina and NC State will play for the 100th time in a series that dates back to the 1974-75 season. The Wolfpack owns a 51-48 edge in the all-time series, but Carolina has the won the last seven and is 26-4 in the series since 2002.

• North Carolina is averaging only 14.7 turnovers per game, the fewest number since the 1995-96 team coughed up the ball only 12.9 times a game.
• Opponents are shooting only 28.1% from beyond the three-point arc, the second best figure in the ACC. Only Duke at 26.4% has been better this season.
• UNC is a perfect 14-0 this season when leading at halftime. The Tar Heels are also 13-0 when allowing less than 70 points and 11-0 when outrebounding its opponents in 2014-15.
• Jamie Cherry has a 10-to-2 assist-to-turnover ratio over the last three games. She had a season-high seven assists and zero turnovers last Sunday at Clemson.
• Carolina has shot 23-of-65 (35.4%) from three-point range in the last three games. The Tar Heels have made at least seven 3's in each game, including nine against Notre Dame on Jan. 15.
