Tar Heels Set To Host ITA Kick-Off Weekend

CONGRATULATIONS TO NORTH CAROLINA TAR HEELS - ITA KICK OFF WEEKEND CHAMPIONS
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina men's tennis team will play host this Friday and Saturday to the annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kick-Off Weekend at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
Sixth-ranked North Carolina will be joined in Chapel Hill by 36th-ranked Alabama, 38th-ranked Virginia Tech and 44th-ranked Oregon for this weekend's two-day tournament. All four teams are undefeated coming into this weekend with North Carolina at 4-0, Oregon 3-0 and Alabama and Virginia Tech both 2-0.
The winner of this weekend's Kick-Off event will earn a spot in the ITA National Team Indoor Championship at the Midtown Athletic Club in Chicago, Ill. That tournament runs February 13-16.
