With the start of the 2015 college baseball season just weeks away, a number of national publications have released their preseason rankings, and North Carolina is featured prominently. The Tar Heels, who made their 13th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance in 2014, get started on Feb. 13 for the first of a three-game series against Seton Hall at Boshamer Staduim in Chapel Hill.

Carolina rates highest in the inaugural D1Baseball.com poll, where the Tar Heels come in at No. 6. Perfect Game USA and Baseball America both list UNC at No. 17, while Collegiate Baseball slots the Tar Heels at No. 24.

Virginia is the only ACC team ranked above Carolina in all four polls, with the Cavaliers coming in between No. 2 and No. 4 according to each publication.
