Schneider Advances In ITA Men's Singles Draw

Tar Heel junior Ronnie Schneider advanced Thursday at the 2015 ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., with a 6-4, 7-6(5) win over Ohio State's Mikael Torpegaard.
The other two Tar Heels in the men's singles draw both lost, with Robert Kelly falling to Oklahoma's Alex Ghilea 7-5, 7-5 and Brett Clark losing to Tulane's Dominik Koepfer 6-4, 6-3.
Clark and Kelly remained alive in doubles, however, beating Florida State's Benjamin Mark and Marco Nunez 7-6 (4), 5-7, 1-0(7).
