Football Enters Polls at No. 21

North Carolina is ranked No. 21 in this week's Associated Press Top 25 college football poll. It is the first time this season the Tar Heels have been ranked and the first time since last fall when UNC was No. 21 in the poll on Sept. 2.
It is the latest in the season Carolina has been ranked since a No. 23 ranking on November 22, 2009.
Carolina is also No. 21 in the Amway Coaches Poll.
The first College Football Playoff rankings will be released Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
