Tar Heel Duo Moves On At National Indoors

The North Carolina men's tennis doubles team of Brett Clark and Robert Kelly advanced Thursday at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in Flushing, N.Y.
As the No. 2 seed in the men's doubles draw, Clark and Kelly received a first-round bye. On Thursday they defeated Michal Rolski and Mike Vermeer of Columbia in a hard-fought match, 7-6(6), 7-6(6).
Friday at 4:30 p.m. the Tar Heels will face Jordan Cox and Kevin Konfederak of Georgia Gwinnett College.
Action is taking place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
