ACC Quarterfinals: #3 Carolina Hosts Syracuse Sunday

Tickets are on-sale for Sunday's quarterfinal match between two teams entrenched in the NCAA Tournament discussion, and find themselves ranked inside the top-10 according to the NCAA RPI.
General admission prices are $8, and $5 for seniors and students.
NOTE: All students at ACC institutions can show their student ID card (One Card for UNC students) to gain free admission to all ACC men's soccer postseason matches.

SERIES HISTORY
North Carolina is 2-0 all-time against the Orange, including a 2-1 victory in Chapel Hill last month on Oct. 10 at Fetzer Field. Goals from Tucker Hume and Alex Olofson gave the Tar Heels a come-from-behind victory.
HOW WE GOT HERE
Carolina earned the No. 2 seed in the ACC Championship by finishing atop the Coastal Division standings, securing the third regular-season title in the last five years under the watch of head coach Carlos Somoano. The Tar Heels received a first-round bye.
Syracuse advanced to Sunday's match with a 2-0 shutout of NC State on Wednesday night in a first-round match in Central New York.
LEADING SCORERS
Tucke Hume is tied for the ACC lead with nine goals and tops UNC with 22 total points in 2015. Alan Winn is second on the club with 16 points on six goals and four assists.
Julian Buescher from Syracuse is third in the ACC with 23 points on eight goals and seven assists. Teammate Ben Polk is second on the Orange squad with 18 points with seven goals and four assists.
UP NEXT
A Tar Heel victory on Sunday will guarantee another home game on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. in the ACC semifinals. The opponent would be the winner of the quarterfinal match between third seed Clemson and sixth seed Boston College.
