After having to cancel the Tar Heel Invitational originally scheduled for this weekend, the North Carolina softball team will play in the Eagle Classic II at Georgia Southern University from Friday, February 20-Sunday, February 22.

The complete list of teams participating in the Eagle Classic II is as follows: Georgia Southern, Bradley, NC State, Eastern Kentucky, Dayton and North Carolina.

Carolina comes into this weekend with a record of 5-4. Coach Donna Papa's squad last played at the Gamecock Invitational last weekend where they defeated the College of Charleston and fell to Appalachian State and South Carolina.

The Tar Heels will face off against the Dayton Flyers on Friday at 2:30 p.m. They will then take on Eastern Kentucky at 10 a.m. on Saturday and will later take on Georgia Southern at 4 p.m. UNC will close out the weekend by facing Bradley at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
