Home Runs Dominate Tuesday's Scrimmage

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- Joe Dudek and Brooks Kennedy each had solo home runs for the game's only runs as Navy topped Blue 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon in a 5 1/2 inning scrimmage at Boshamer Stadium.
Dudek's shot to deep right center was the first run of the game, while Kennedy followed with a home run of his own in the fifth. A Wood Myers double to right in the first and an Alex Raburn single were the scrimmage's only other base hits.
Taylore Cherry and Jackson Bellenkes were the two starters, while Jack Geraghty, Zach Rice and Chris McCue threw in relief.
Carolina will hold its next closed scrimmage on Friday.
