UNC Visits Syracuse Thursday In Top-25 Clash

North Carolina is ranked No. 13 by the Associated Press and 11th in the coaches poll this week. Syracuse is No. 25 in both polls.
ACC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Stephanie Mavunga was named ACC Player of the Week on Monday, the third time earning the award this season for the sophomore forward. She had 25 points and 14 rebounds in the 72-60 win over Boston College on Sunday, Feb. 1 in Chapel Hill.
She has averaged 17.4 points and 10.0 rebounds over the last 10 games for the Tar Heels.

• North Carolina is averaging only 14.5 turnovers per game, the fewest number since the 1995-96 team coughed up the ball only 12.9 times a game.
• Opponents are shooting only 27.9% from beyond the three-point arc, the second best figure in the ACC.
• Allisha Gray has eight 20-point performances this season, the sixth most in the ACC this season. She has 11 in her two-year career with the Tar Heels.
• Stephanie Mavunga's 20 career double-doubles is the fourth most among active players in the ACC and the most among players in her sophomore class.
