POSTGAME NOTES

ACC TOURNAMENT SEMIFINALS
CAROLINA is now 24-10 overall, 93-43 in the ACC Tournament, 39-17 in the ACC Tournament in Greensboro, 121-32 in Greensboro, 115-29 in the Greensboro Coliseum and 33-14 in the ACC Tournament semifinals.
CAROLINA has advanced to the ACC title game for the 33rd time. The Tar Heels are 17-15 in the championship game.
ROY WILLIAMS is 18-9 in the ACC Tournament. This is the third time under Williams that UNC has won three ACC Tournament games in one year – the other two times UNC won the title in 2007 and 2008.
CAROLINA has advanced to the championship game six times in 12 years with Roy Williams as head coach. The Tar Heels won the title in 2007 (NC State) and 2008 (Clemson) and lost in the finals in 2011 (Duke), 2012 (Florida State) and 2013 (Miami).
CAROLINA is now 12-3 against Virginia in ACC Tournament history with wins in each of the last six meetings in the Tournament. UNC is also 6-0 against Virginia in the ACC Tournament in Greensboro.
CAROLINA has beaten two higher seeds in an ACC Tournament for the first time in school history. The #5 Tar Heels beat #4 Louisville in the quarterfinal and #1 Virginia in the semifinals.
CAROLINA is now 3-8 against #1 seeds in the ACC Tournament. UNC also beat #1 seed Duke in 1991 and #1 Duke in 1998.
JUSTIN JACKSON scored a season-high 22 points vs. Virginia (previous high was 18 against Davidson on 11/22/14). This was the eighth consecutive game he scored in double figures. His previous long streak was three games in mid-January.
JACKSON led UNC in scoring for the fourth time this season.
JACKSON scored 16 second-half points. He scored 16 or more points in four games prior to this evening.
JACKSON made a season-high four three-pointers. His previous high was two six times. Jackson went 11 for 54 from three-point range in the first 26 games and is 12 of 24 from beyond the arc in the last eight games.
JACKSON went 8 for 10 from the floor tonight, which matches the best field goal percentage (.800) by a Tar Heel this season.
CAROLINA shot 54.8 percent from the floor tonight. That is the highest percentage against Virginia this season and the highest in 163 against the Cavaliers since Washington shot .580 on Nov. 22, 2010.
CAROLINA shot 57.1 percent from the floor in the second half. That is the sixth consecutive games UNC has shot 50 percent or better in the second half. That includes .519 at Miami, .607 at Georgia Tech, .583 vs. Duke, .515 vs. Boston College, .500 vs. Louisville and .571 vs. Virginia.
CAROLINA scored 71 points tonight. That is the most against Virginia since Miami scored 80 in a double overtime game on 1/3/15. It is the most points against UVa in a regulation game since Davidson scored 72 on 12/30/14.
MARCUS PAIGE had 13 points and five assists. He has 19 assists and six turnovers in the three ACC Tournament games.
PAIGE made two three-pointers and passed Jeff Lebo for fifth place in UNC history with 212. Donald Williams and Rashad McCants are tied for third with 221.
