2015 Pro Timing Day Results
March 23, 2015 | Football
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina hosted its annual Pro Timing Day on Tuesday with more than 30 scouts on hand representing nearly every team in the NFL. Four-year starter Tim Scott was one of the standouts, leading the way with a 33 1/2" vertical jump and a 9-8" broad jump. Scott was also impressive in the positional workouts at UNC's Navy practice fields.
"I feel like I did my best," said Scott, who played both cornerback and safety from 2011-14. "I've worked hard to put myself in position for today. Now, I just have to keep working hard and I hope to get some meetings set up with a few NFL teams prior to the draft."
Tight end Jack Tabb also impressed during the positional workouts, running solid routes and proving his ability to make the difficult catch. Tabb ran an unofficial time of 4.7 in the 40-yard dash and posted a 31-0" vertical jump.
Several current and former teammates were on hand for the annual timing day, including 2014 first-round draft pick Eric Ebron and Baltimore Ravens tackle James Hurst.
The 2015 NFL Draft is set for April 30-May 2.
